    Morning Sherri and the rest of the CCers.

    This past Saturday was the end of my second week of induction, but considering I still have over 100 lbs to lose I am going to stay on induction for at least another 2 weeks.
    Friday I also started a new workout plan. I'd never thought about any workout videos or anything because I always found them to be kind of cheesy, even though I'd never actually seen one. But last Thursday I went and purchased Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred. She has 3 different levels on the disc, and when I bought it I just watched (didn't act) on the first level. I sat there Thursday night watching it thinking "Man, this looks pretty easy. 20 minutes, this can't be all that bad!" So I went in Friday morning with the mindset that it wouldn't be all that difficult and boy was I wrong! It killed me! I didn't think I would make it through the 20 minutes, but somehow I did. It was the "easiest" things that killed me, like jumping jacks and jumping rope. Saturday morning it seemed a little easier to do, but I will say that even right now my gluts, abs, back and biceps burn. It's a good burn though! Needless to say yesterday I didn't work out. I thought about it but I just wanted to do nothing.

      Good morning everyone!

      Ryan, I have the same workout DVD and the jumping jacks and jump rope killed me too!!!! It's a terrific DVD...one of these days I'm going to have to pull it out again and give it a shot. I just finished purchasing another couple of hers...they're called "No More Trouble Zones" and "Banish Fat Boost Matabolism"....I'll have to kick back and watch them (I always do that first before trying them out) and I'll let you know what I think after my first session. You know, I also purchased "Turbo Jam" a few months ago and find it to be excellent.

      After I had some surgery in December I wasn't able to do the DVD's anymore and have pretty much stuck to my glider as well as some free weights and mat exercises. One of these days I'll pop in a DVD and start using them again...I am in the process of changing up my routine again....our systems can get so use to the same stuff all the time.

      100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.

      2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
      Current weight – 226 lbs.
      Goal weight - 150 – 160

        Good day, everyone !

        I never thought I would miss exercising as much as I do!!! I cannot wait until I'm able to get my heart pumping, push myself to finish one more rep, work up a sweat, and feel great afterwards .

        Today is another day of recovery for me. I think I'm going to try and get up every hour and move a bit rather than every couple hours. I really, really need to shower. I feel so incredibly gross .

          Hi guys!
          sherri, I would love to find a new food. This area is so behind the times.

          I've given up making my snack bars this past week to see if that would kick start a loss, but it seems they weren't affecting me. Still sitting at 189. Oh well.

          I'm trying to get a website going, while hatching 50 someodd chicks over the past couple if months, so I seem to be busy, but I feel a need for more exercise.

          How about another CC challenge? Something simple like a "bathing suit bulge blast"
          pick one area that needs work..... measure...work on it!
          Anyone interested?
