          I'm back! I haven't posted much lately. I fell into eating some non-approved low-carb, so going back to strict induction. Glad to be here, being good again.

              Good Morning ! Still on plan

              Getting frustrated as the scale has not moved much but goign to stick to it

              My BP has dropped which I'm happy as heck about

              And I feel ALOT better than pre-atkins

                    Welcome to all who are just coming by for the first time to check out the Century Club and thanks to the rest of you for your ongoing support of Atkins and its members.

                    Rainy and ugly here today so no walking outside yet. It has felt like a very, very long winter in the northeast!! I have a rare day to myself and think I'll head off to the mall for some spring clothes.

                    Enjoy the day and do something healthy!!

                      Hello Friends!
                      I am glad to be back to routine Mondays. Weekends can be hard to navigate food choices.
                      I am on a No Weigh challenge, as I know some of you are also. (Yea!) I have also signed up for some exercise challenges. I have been putting off the exercise part so far, so here I go! "What is a squat?" Just Kidding!

                        Well, I ate out. I strayed a little and ate some carbs. But I didn't go for dessert and completely mess up the whole week. I kinda found some butts. But mostly I'm not smoking much. I went out and while I was driving and things I didn't even think about them hardly at all. I am actually happy about quitting and all the money I'll save for skinnier clothes and cheap glasses. I am a bit worried though. The new tobacco tax was suppose to fund children's health care. They are doubling the price of roll your own tobacco. This what the very poor smoke, like me. I think a lot of people will quit and they won't have much tax money after all.



                        My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

                        1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
                        2nd mini goal: 140!
                        3rd mini goal:135!
                        4th mini goal: 130!

                        I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                          Not much to say today. To sum up my thoughts... I'm tired of eggs. I know there are so many great choices out there.... it's finding the energy (and the money, I must admit) to try them out.

                          All is well though... I'm on track and feeling really good.

                          Oh, wait, I do have news! I'm headed to Seattle in a few weeks to check out their campus for dental school... (woo hoo!) I'm so excited... I bought a suit almost a year ago that was about two sizes too small. I tried it on this morning to see if it would work for my interview and it fits! I honestly didn't think I would even be able to put it on yet. I was just hoping! Still a little snug, but in a few weeks time it will be great. It was a "I'm so excited, I'm really doing this" moment.

                            Rita, did you ever really thibk they want us to quit? I think they just want us to fund their next projects I wish i was doing as well as you are in the quitting department. Not gonna try again until I hit goal this time....gained too much weight back last attempt.
