    Good morning all!

    This is my first roll call... I must admit, I'm excited about it. I guess it doesn't take a lot to make me happy.

    Hope everyone had a good weekend... seems all of us were pretty busy.

    Hi everyone! I'm back after a somewhat long absence! The kids ended up getting sick again so I had to put off a few things until they got better.

    I'm still at the same weight and have managed to stay on track. I just could not get in the exercise that I would have liked and going to the gym had to be put off too. I'm finally able to get back in there and exercise and it feels good!

      Since I began Atkins I love Mondays!! Weekdays are so much easier for me to drink enough water, and stay on my new WOE without having to navigate through all of the weekend challenges. Happy Monday!

        Good morning Avery, Chynna, 12Years and all CC'ers
        Avery, the weekend was beautiful here, I spent alot of time outside working in the yard.
        Chynna, great to see you back. Congrats on staying on track.
        12Years, I know what you mean about loving mondays and throughout the week. I always found it easier to stick to plan. Weekends do hold their own set of challenges.
        Well, today is another beautiful day. It will be in the mid 70's. Gonna get out in it.

          Good Morning doing my daily check in

          Some good news to share, I did a BP measurement on Sunday and it was 120/78 !!! I'm back in the "normal range" and I know it has to be due to Atkins.

          I spent 4 months trying to on/off do low calorie and my BP was not getting better. And in just 18 days on Atkins it's back in the "NORM" I'm very excited about this.

            Good morning all! Glad to be back from my trip and back to my ADBB family! I had a great time and stayed on track the entire weekend! I even got to the gym once while I was there, which was nice. The one bummer with that though was the seat on their bike there KILLED my butt...between sitting in those airplane seats and sitting on that bike seat my posterior is quite tender right now lol. Speaking of the airplane seats...it was so nice to be able to pull some slack in my belt instead of having to suck the gut in and pray the belt would fit! That is the most comfortable I have been on an airplane in a long time! Ready to get back into the swing of things with school and such. I've decided to change my weekly weigh-in to once a week, and I'm changing it to Tuesdays just because that is what fits best with my schedule. So I am very eager to weigh myself tomorrow...I think I might be able to hit that next mini goal I set for myself! Anyways glad to be back! Hope you're all doing well and low carbing it!

              Good morning CC'ers. Still got the painful foot this morning, but not screaming pain like yesterday.

              Sherri~*The forcast calls for the high of 76 today so I am going to sit out in the sun Yesterday was beautiful as well. I am so tired of the Oregon rain already!

              12years~*I look forward to the weekdays too. I just have so much more temptation on the weekends

                  **Silently creeps back in after a long absence**

                  Hi everyone! Hope everyone is doing well today
                  I was supposed to restart back in Jan, but some things happened and was in the hospital for a short stay and then all that funness. But here I am, first day back to this WOL and working through it. I am incredibly hungry today though! UGH. Any suggestions? I have a long night ahead of me as I am still working 3rd shift untill the end of the month.

                    Hey Clara! Welcome back No sneaking required!! As for being hungry...EAT! The fattier the better....a fatty cut of pork, or a tuna or chicken salad with gobs of mayo served in an avocado half. Induction is NOT for calorie counting. Just watch the carbs and eat when you want to, and as I said, preferably something fatty.

                      Thanks for the welcome back!

                      Oh trust me, I have been eating! lol My carb count by the end of my day will definitely be within limits, as I pretty much plan out my day and anything added in if I am hungry I make sure keeps me within my limits. Earlier, I just whipped up a little hamburger and voila! I just feel like I am eating SOOOO much. I know this will change, but wow!

                        Yeah, it's those first few days of gluttony that gives Atkins a reputation Don't overdo the protein though, as it can be converted to carbs by your body. How about some nice guacamole with pork rinds to dip wiith?

                          As long as I keep my protein at around 35% I am ok, correct? Inputting everything into fitday I am at 32% protein, just a little under that. Just want to make sure I am not overdoing it
