Re: Confused, scared, and in pain

Shelly, it still feels fine. Going to take my second dose for today in a minute. I am so glad I went on and bought them, hugs!

Oh and thanks Pag, that was very sweet.

Just an update... if I forget the cherry extract capsules, my toe flares up. Pretty suggestive that the extract is helping. On the plus side, needing to take the black cherry extract helps me remember my other supplements!

Yea! I am happy for you mommytomany. I know that gout flare ups cause very terrible pain - no fun. My afternoon hormone pills remind me to take my supplements!

Even 65/15/20 if you keep your carbs high fiber.

I know that you are just starting out and this suggestion is NOT doing the ladder in order, but how about increasing the quantity of lower carb veggies and trying the Dreamfield pastas to stretch out your meals. Yes, I am suggesting a deviation, and if you can afford it, the House Foods Shiratake noodles would be a lower carb and equally filling choice....around here, however, they run 2 bucks for 8 COOKED ounces in water.

BTW, is gout a pain on the end of your toe?
          Hi Chiklady,
I am gout sufferer and could not get through induction phase couple of times due sever gout flare ups. I wonder where do I find 70% fat in food. If I buy 1 kilo whole chiken there is more chicken than fat. Do I have to seperately buy just fat from teh butcher? Is there any recipe that can be made with just animal fat? Are you suggesting that the butter is also considered fat and eat more butter?

Please help me to understand the concept of 70/10/20 model.

          Thanks in advance.
