        Goal 1 - Clean Induction (14 Days) DONE
        Goal 2 - Get Under 300 Lbs - Goal Met April 14, 2009

        Blood Pressure at start averaged 140/85 borderline Hypertension. Blood Pressure 18 days into plan has changed to 120/78 !!! Measured April 5, 2009

          Good morning everyone!

          I hope everyone is having a great low carb morning so far! We're still away but I wanted to pop in and say hello

          It's really sunny here this morning and I'm hoping to get out and play some tennis FINALLY sometime today! Last week when we arrived I couldn't because I ended up developing two gianormous blisters (from my new running shoes) on the back of both my heals....yuck!

          I went out bowling yesterday....needless to say I am terribly rusty!!!!!

          How's everyone's low carbing going? Anything new that you're trying out ie...new exercise routines?

          Remember to fit some form of exercise into your daily routine and drink lots of water!!!

          Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
          1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
          2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
          Current weight – 213 lbs.
          Goal weight - 150 – 160

            Hi Guys! Another difficult weekend is over and I'm glad once again to be in the routine of M-F lifestyle. Much Easier to stay on course! My family and I went to dinner at a friend's home on Friday. I asked her menu ahead of time to make sure it would work for me, and it sounded do-able. When I got there, the Boston Butt had been mixed with barbecue sauce. This was going to be the main thing I ate. The veggies were slaw and potato salad. I then realized the slaw had Ramen noodles in it and sugar. This was the first social activity our family had done with this other family and I felt too self-conscious to mention the diet and did not want to offend the wife , so I just fixed a plate and ate it.. I did not mention my diet. I gained 2 lbs, but I am back on the straight and narrow this week and hopefully will make up for lost, (or gained) ground soon. I am not looking forward to sugar cravings! Sigh!

              Don't feel too bad, I ate a piece of cake and some other sugar coated cereal mix at my Grandma's. I have found out I cheat around my ex and when I am at my grandma's. I know or care why it is, it just is. If I hadn't eaten the cake, I knew I could eat all week long and never get full if I was thinking about that piece of cake. The two pounds will come right off, its just water. On the brighter side, my aunt noticed I had lost a few more pounds. And I lost enough water weight and bloat from cheating on springbreak to fit back into my pants. When I was heavier, if I hit a Chinese buffet and gained 7 pound of water, my clothes still fitted. Now, the pants will not fit anymore if I do that. I was gonna change my goal weight and quit after I lost 15 more pounds. But if I go off Atkins for a week, I gain 10 pounds of mostly water. So it looks like I really will have to go all the way down to goal weight. Everyone but me is pretty happy with my weight now, and I'm pretty close to happy too.



              My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

              1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
              2nd mini goal: 140!
              3rd mini goal:135!
              4th mini goal: 130!

              I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                Good moring CCers. Sounds like you guys had quite the challenges facing you! Sometimes working 7 days a week and not having a life really simplifies things Our Easter dinner was country pork ribs, collard greens and carrots. Dessert was a banana nut cake that was in dire need of more banana flavoring. Carbquik has a tendency to disintergrate flavors...except lemon....





                290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!
