It's still sunny in London - hotter than Turkey today.
Feeling pretty damn groovy - it was my weigh-in and I have lost a kilo and a half! How about that? Can't stop smiling.

Lisa and Keetje congratulations on your losses this week!!!
I am about to cut my foot off since I woke up with my gout back!! This is so unbelievable. I have cherry extract on the way and I can't wait to start trying it. The new meds my DR is putting me on has me freaked out...I don't like reading about the side effects. I have a major fear of starting on any new kind of medication. And even if I do decide to start taking it, I have to have no symptons of gout to begin the medication. Makes no sense. So I am hoping and praying for a small attack and nothing major.

Good morning to all. Going to the big city today to shop for work clothes and maybe get some custom boots made.
It's going to be awkward because I know the guy I'm driving with is gonna want to stop somewhere interesting for lunch. Part of me wants to try eating out for a change. The other part of me knows it's gonna be impossible to stay on track, so the smart thing to do is pack my own lunch.
Making matters worse.. my MIL just told me about this fabulous Japanese restaurant that's right by where we're going

Tutti, I'm so sorry you're still having difficulties...hang in there hopefully your cherry extract will arrive soon...sending you HUGE hugs
Fwl....try to go to a place that serves steak!!! That's what I always do...if not...order a hamburger (just make sure the patty doesn't have bread crumbs or added sugar) minus the bun. You can also have them saute mushrooms and onions and put it on your steak or if you have a burger that as well including the tomato, lettuce onion etc... Eating out isn't that difficult if you plan ahead....in other words...where you're going to go is important. I agree, Japanese or Thai or a pizza place would be hard so don't go there!!! Packing some legal foods is a fabulous idea! Happy shopping!!!

Current weight – 209 lbs.
Goal weight - 150 – 160

Hi everyone,
Big challenge for me tonight...One of our vendors challenged our office to a hockey game. My girlfriend talked me into going to cheer them on. Of course, we're going for drinks afterward. I still haven't found much in terms of aspertame-free pop in the grocery stores, never mind at the bar - and I'm still on induction - so it's water for me. I hope I have enough will power...maybe if I know I'll have to come back here and admit I failed that will help.
I'll be thinking about you guys. Thanks in advance for the support, knowing you guys are here for me is GOLDEN. I'll report back later ...

Hi Julie,
You could also have soda water...it's bubbly and enjoyable over ice....just make sure you don't ask for tonic...that's rather nasty stuff.
I think soda water has sodium so you might just want to nurse it. I personally drink only water but OCASSIONALLY when we've gone out I've opted for a glass of soda water and ice.

Well I survived. Turned down free beer & pizza - drank nothing but water. It really wasn't that hard once I convinced myself that that was what I wanted.
Thanks for the soda water tip - I'll keep that in mind.
