  • It's a Small World....

    Just rantin'...

It ain't no fun being big in a world designed for small people.

Today's challenge seems to be doorways. I feel like I've spent most of the day squeezing through doorways.

It doesn't help that my wife seems to have a penchant for piling things up in and around entryways at our home. I try to remind her that I'm at least triple her size, but invariably.... squeeze.... grumble... pick everything up that I just knocked over.... grumble... remind wife to keep doorway clear.... grumble...

:laughter: I can just see it in my mind...

I love when people move out of my way to let me pass and I have to remind them... umm, that will let one leg pass...

my suggestion - don't pick up the stuff, you'll be surprised at how fast it finds another location to reside...

          LOL, Been there Forrest.
As you lose your weight, you'll recognize how much bigger things become around you. Door ways, diner booths, air plane seats. Seats on amusement park rides. Our car seats. These were all things that were challengeing to me at one time, but are no longer.
I do understand your frustation though. It truly is a small world.

I've just bought a new car and I had to have a tutorial on the seat adjustment thingys on the side of the driver seat! I never needed them because my seat was back as far as it would go! It feels funny sitting so far forward! Yes ... losing weight is a surprise every day.

*mutters* I really hate titchy little doorways and people that pile stuff up - so I add to the problems by carrying a ruck sack everywhere!

                That'll teach 'em!

                Mwaaahahahahahah

ps. another plus of rucksack is that I can blame it for knocking over things that have originally been knocked over by my prodigious arse!
