APRIL TDL CC exercise challenge topic

    WEEK 15


    we have now going to use the challenge by Paige Waehner in our extra credit questions. I hope they are helping y'all with your exercise motivation.

    Goals
    Make goals for what you will accomplish this week. Be realistic, make them attainable. Challenge yourself, but don’t set yourself up for failure by promising more than you know you can do. When I started out I was doing 2MPH for 20 minutes and thought I was Rocky on top of those steps. Now I'm in much better shape and can do much more much faster so if I posted I was doing that now I hope y'all would kick my butt for being an exercise slug.


    Extra Credit

    Name your biggest obstacle to exercising. Now, name 3 ways to overcome it for your next workout.

      I reached my exercise goal this week.
      1 walk to the park - 6 blocks round trip,
      Helped build fence (upper body workout)
      Scrubbed down dash and two cupboards in motor home
      Emptied old travel trailer (Lots of lifting and reaching)

      This weeks goal:
      Clean motorhome or trailer 1 hour 3 evenings after work.
      Walk dogs 2 evenings 6 blocks.

      My biggest obstacle is sitting on my butt and claiming to be too tired. To overcome this I will:
      1. come home from work at 4:30 and get busy before dinner
      2. eat less at dinner and go out right after dinner for a walk
      3. go for my walk at 7:00 sharp

        WEEK 16

        LOOKS LIKE the Aliens got a lot of ADBB TDLers the rescue parties will be taking names after tomorrows postings.

          Well I did it 1 week cheat free!!! :icondance :icondance
          Every day gets easier and I feel great.

          Very active week.
          Thursday night I spent 3 hours walking while invigilating an exam, I barely sat down the entire time.

          Saturday: I scrubbed down my travel trailer and all the deck furniture then walked for 2 hours in Walmart = upper body and lower body
          Sunday: I clipped both dogs and planted two shrubs. Upper body and bending and lifting.

          The inches I gained are gone along with three more. :icondance :icondance

          My favourite exercise is walking and gardening. My goal is to live an active life instead of a sedetary one.
