  • Hello my friends, something for you!

Hey guys, Tom here, and I figured since I've been getting so much advice, maybe I'd throw a little your way~

I've been consuming a tablespoon of apple cider vinnegar directly from the bottle. Its scientifically proven to stimulate your metabolism and give it a nice kick in the rump!

I dunno if this has been spread around to you guys in this forum yet, but I figured I'd share it with you all~ It's been making me feel great... ((but a little gassy...haha.))

Another thing its good for is bladder health~ so hey, two benefits in one!

Give it a shot; or research it more if you want to. And keep the fight going strong! We can all do it!
Believe in yourself, and others will in turn; believe in you~

It has MANY other benefits...have to check the carb content but if it's o sugar and carb I am all for it. We've used it for years, even in water for our animals (parrots, dog and cat).

Never tried that one before...the word vinegar just brings back bad memories. I remember my folks used to run vinegar through their coffee machine to clean it when I was younger and the overwhelming stench permeated the entire house for days. On the other hand, it also brings back memories of coloring Easter eggs as a child...maybe I'll try it.

Another item which can help to stimulate the metabolism is cinnamon! It is also helpful in treating candida infections. It's also been shown to help with insulin resistance...it is the super low-carb friend! Just don't OD on cinnamon, cause it can cause stomach irritation. (I am referring to cinnamon tablets or oils that you can get at vitamin stores or via the internet. Please don't run into your grocer and pick up a bag of cinnamon and bring a spoon to it. That is drying my mouth out just thinking about it!)

I've heard about the vinegar and also the cinnamon.. although I've never made either a day to day thing. I suppose it's time to give it a try.

My mouth also went a bit dry just thinking about dipping a spoon into the powder... yuck! I take the capsules in the morning when I remember, and now this has reminded me I need to make it a habit. I do have a bit of "tea" in the morning time when my stomach needs a bit of settling. It's just hot water poured over fresh lemon and mint, a few slices of ginger and a tiny bit of a cinnamon stick. I had a doctor tell me about a year ago that drinking a mug of that in the morning time would help my digestion and the cinnamon would help stabilize my blood sugar. I do notice my stomach calms right down. It may be a little bit of a mental game, too.

I remember calling my sister a bad name when I was a kid ... got vinegar on my tongue ... to this day, that is all I can think of when I have oil and vinegar! LOL

          Thanks for this reminder, though!
