  • I slipped! UGH!!

    Somebody slap me around!

    I had been doing so well, then yesterday, after tons of outside work, I slipped. I had been well within my carb count, drank my 81 oz of water, and then sat down to movie. This morning, I had gained 4.5 pounds. The culprit? I think...was 6 cans of Fresca last night. Way too much Splenda. I knew I shouldn't do it! UHG! I think I'm going to ground myself. No Fresca for a week!

    Oh, no! I had no idea that too much 0 calorie soda could make you gain weight. Good for you for deciding to stay away from it for awhile. I think that while your slip-up is frustrating--no one likes to see the scale go the wrong way--it hopefully will come right back off as you stay away from soda this week.

      Awww, it's ok! To be honest, I was expecting something much worse! It's all water, and you'll get back to normal soon enough. Sounds like a good punishment, though!

        Yes that splenda sure can be a downfall. I try to stick to just one soda with splenda a week. I even make my own with soda water and splenda sweetened torani syrup. That lets me have more control of how much goes in as well. Get chugging on your water and you should have that gone in no time
