  • the hardest thing

i think the hardest thing i have experienced with this so far is the amount of water you have to consume. there are days when i feel like i am going to start sloshing like a water balloon whenever i move. i am reading my DANDR right now, but i haven't really seen alot about water yet and i am curious how much water do you need to drink?

the exercise is hard of course, but you expect that long before you even start a healthier lifestyle change. i am just surprised about all the water-chuggin'.

Ah Bran water is so important. Yea, it's a hard habit to start but once you do, it'll be such a great feeling.

Someone will correct me if I have it wrong, but I believe it's 64 ounces plus 8 ounces for each 25 pounds you need/want to lose. There's another way (something about 1/2 your weight in ounces???) but I really don't remember it.

Water is the way OUT for all the ketones/fat etc.. you are dropping, so the more you drink, the better you flush. It also keeps you feeling full, so you won't feel the need to eat. Keeps you hydrated while you're exercising (since the other big important thing is to exercise). There are so many other reasons for all the water but I don't recall them all offhand.

Yea, you'll slosh, but it's good to be sloshy! LOL!!!

I'm one of those "other" people that drinks 1/2 my body weight in ounces, which is about 107 ounces for me. This way is easier for me because I'm not sure how much weight I still want to lose...

Drinking water pretty much needs to become a hobby...

        Happy chugging!! :capital

You know, I had a hard time at first..But now my body has gotten used to the water, and I feel very thirsty if I haven't had enough for the day, and my weight will usually be up a pound or so the next day. It's like your body gets used to being well hydrated, and I fell like I am in the desert if I haven't had atleast 100 ounces!

That's very true. I find that the more I drink the more I crave it...

go read the FAQ about why we need water to lose weight and you will have no trouble chugging your water any more.

you can use a straw and get more in easier
you can place a cup in the bathroom and after your empty you can fill up again.
you can sneak water ito your food like add a bit more to the soup or whatever.
you can get a fanny pack with a water holder and port your water with you wherever you go so ou can drink all day long.
you can drink while you exercise too and get in a lot that way.

yep once you get a customed to having it your body actually thinks it is in a drought when you don't drink up.
                  Happy low carbing.
