    Good afternoon CC'ers,

    What a thundery day here in London, huge black clouds and a stinking headache.

    Dashing around doing lots of stuff, so just a quick hello.

      It's rainy and cold here today.....brrrrrr (shiver, shiver)!

      Wishing you all a wonderful low carb day today.

      Drink lots of water and fit some form of exercise into your day.

      Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
      April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
      Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
      1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
      2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
      3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
      4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
      Current weight – 189 lbs.
      Goal weight - 150 – 160

        Hi Everyone,
        I missed the roll call yesterday but I'm checking in today. I'm on day 5 of induction and I'm feeling great! NO more brain fog.....I just love that!!

          Hello!

          I just finished induction and am moving on to... more induction!
          I think I'm retaining some water, so I'm making it a point to drink 14 cups of water today instead of my usual 11-12.

          If you see me arou... - oh darn! Have to pee again!

          (Chuckle.)

            Checking in for the first time in a while. I've been back on Atkins since 6/15 (after a couple months "off") and have lost 7 lbs and a good amount of inches thus far. I'm exercising, eating better, and drinking my water.

            One new thing I'm doing differently this time around is really watching my portion sizes and how much I am eating as I know this is one of my problems. I'm making smaller serving sizes of food and stopping eating when I'm full (after I get my veggies in and 3-4 oz of protein) and putting the rest away for later. If I'm hungry later, I reheat and have it as a snack. Thus, I'm keeping to 1200-1500 calories per day, sometimes higher, sometimes lower and have not been hungry.

            One other thing I've learned is that you really need to make Atkins work for you, finding the trigger foods and avoiding them, food you won't tolerate, and food balances that both keep you satisfied, getting the nutrients you need and help you stick to the program.

            Now to just keep it up.

            Goal #1: 247 - 2nd 10% (59lbs, 247, also 100 lbs total loss) - Met 1/4/10!!!
            Goal #2: 241 - Halfway to goal! (106 lbs lost) - Met 2/21/10!!!

            Goal #3: 222 - 3rd 10% - Lowest Atkins weight
            Goal #4: 210 - Still on track!
            Goal #5: 200/199 - 4th 10% - One-derland! End year goal!
            Female/Hypothyroidism/Arthritis/Fibromyalgia - If I can lose weight on this, so can you!
