    Happy Sunday CC'ers!
    Beginning of a new week. Another week to get closer to our goals.
    Like all things we set out to do, have a plan and carry the correct tools you'll need to get through it. Always pushing forward.
    It was weigh day for me today. Weighing once a week sure has helped me refocus on other areas of my journey, rather than focusing on the metal monster.
    Lost another 1.5 pounds. I'll take it. At least i'm going the right direction.

    I too look at the scales too much! I got threw induction again. Lost a little, but it may be from not drinking enough water. I went out to eat and stuck to the diet in the face of a buffet. How bad can you feel when you're eating steak? I'm not having cravings and stuff so much this time so its been easier. Never did quiet give up smoking, cut down a lot though. After doing induction, I am up 2 pounds from where I left off. So a real happy day for me. Got to move my ticker!



    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

      Congratulations Sherri and Rita on both your accomplishments...you earned those lost pounds...take them and claim them proudly!!!!!!

      Wishing all of you a great low carb day...keep drinking lots of water and don't forget to fit some form of exercise into your daily routine...you won't be sorry!!!!

      Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
      April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
      Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
      1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
      2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
      3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
      4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
      5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
      Current weight – 183 lbs.
      Goal weight - 150 – 160

          Hey Sherri and Rita, great job on the weight loss!
          Today was my 14th day of Induction. As of this morning I have lost a little over 18#s and 7.75" (4" from my WAIST!!!). Don't really look any thinner though and my clothes fit pretty much the same. The reason for that is that I should be wearing a larger size but finding 4x is hard and I just wasn't going to buy even bigger clothes.

          So I'll take final readings tomorrow morning and calculate my CCLL/ACE. All in all I think it was a successful Induction but I'm moving on to OWL tomorrow. More veggies will be nice but I really hope to get to dairy and nuts/seeds.

          I know that heavy folks can stay in Induction longer and that would mean faster weight loss but I'm pushing my body with this low a level of carbs so it's onward up the ladder for me. Based on past low-carb experience, I don't anticipate stalls from the lower rung foods...it's the bread/starchy veggies that seem to do me in. We'll see how it goes!
