    Hello CC,

    During my 2nd week, weight loss stopped & I gained 2 or 3 pds, so that disappointment helped me stress out more, because I had been on program 100%!!!

    I've had a really tough time. On Thurs, my mom-in-law broke her hip. Between the 2 kids, work, babysitters, hospital, & my stressed-out husband who won't leave his mom's side (don't blame him), I've lost it. Sat and Sunday, I didn't stay on program, it was too hard. I had 2 anxiety attacks, & my body is killing me. I'm not used to walking thru the store buying grocery, unpacking it from the car, putting it away, watching da kids alone, etc. Anyway, made it to work at 12, & having 3 burgers w/o buns & pork rinds now. So I'm back on, but boy, I'm really stressed.

    I had a slip today. My strips arn't gonna turn again for a day or two. But its okay, just get back on it! It took me a long time to get a respectable distance between my slips. I was/am a total carb junky. And when I do eat something sweet, I want to eat more of everything else too. The longer you can stay cheat free, the less hungery you should get. Once the carbs get out of your system and you are running on fat and protein, its easier. Hang in there! I take all my salad stuff and chop it up and put it in baggies as soon I can. That way if I'm hungery, I can have a quick salad anytime. I also eat a bite of cheese here and there between meals. I keep chicken leg quarter's in the fridge so they are thawed and ready to bake. I can do all kinds of things with hamburger, so I keep it thawed and ready to cook too. I have to becareful with porkrinds, I'm not sure why but too many can slow down my weightloss even though they shouldn't. I also can't have the sweets with sugar alcohals. They just mess me up all around. They work fine for some though. I try to stick to meats, allowed induction veggies, and cheeses. I found out what does and doesn't agree with me by trying new things like splenda one at a time.
    Welcome to the board! We do rollcall sometime about everyday. lol Its not up there yet. I'm usually too chicken to start it up. I really do better when I do answer rollcall regular. It gets me planning to be good.



    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
    2nd mini goal: 140!
    3rd mini goal:135!
    4th mini goal: 130!

    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

      Rita, hang in there..good for you for getting back on the wagon girl! Drink lots of water, eat right, fit some form of exercise into your daily routine and before you know it you'll be dropping weight and losing inches.

      Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
      April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
      Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
      1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
      2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
      3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
      4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
      5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
      Current weight – 183 lbs.
      Goal weight - 150 – 160
