    Happy Friday, Folks! How's everyone holding up?

    I've been off plan for 4 days but got back on yesterday. Luckily, there was no weight gain, but I'm thrilled to FINALLY be able to go shopping and get the things we need around here. It really stinks when you run out of the good stuff and have to wait to replace it..grrr. Anyhow, my son is so excited about starting school....without his root-beer belly!

    Looks like I'm not getting the weekend off after all

    The good news is that I tend to lose more steadily on days I work vs. days I sit around the house surfing the net.

      Good Morning everyone! TGIF!!

      Okay, I mentally berated myself half the early morning (while still in bed) and then finally said to myself "why am I doing this, while doing nothing good for myself?" I mean why was i just laying there saying "oh woe is me" when I could get up and do something about it?

      So i got up, weighed myself and put on some sweats and tennies....I then pulled out my Leslie Sansome 1 mile walking dvd (first time in years) and started walking!!! Yeah it hurt! Yeah I wanted to quit halfway through! But I didn't stop and made it all the way through. My body feels invigorated, yet tired at the same time...I was hurting in my tummy and feeling not so great...still feeling that way but I also feel proud of myself for stepping up to the plate and making myself do it even though every muscle in my body screamed "NOOOO!"........I decided, "who needs a treadmill?" lol....I am going to walk to that dvd every morning that I can and get my body over that brink of sedintary life.

      Now I am drinking some green tea with coconut oil stirred into it. I will have some of my egg quiche for breakfast and then go shopping for some MEAT! (oh yeah, veggies too hehe)

      This weekend we are going clothes shopping and plan to stay at a hotel (the shopping is 1 hours drive and it would just be easier this way)...We are going to go to the movies (any ideas for snacks there?) and there is a pool so I can exercise in that! Wish me luck!!!

        Fill sandwich baggies with pepperoni, cheese cubes, veggies and olives. If you have to have the popcorn type snack, melt some butter over some pork rinds.

          Hmmm some good ideas here Thanks Butter over pork rinds?? has anyone tried this? I get the mental picture of pork rinds saying "were melting, were melting" giggle~

              Well, I just started using fitday to figure out the diet again. I ended up having half a protein shake. I had planned to stop that because it throws things out of where they are suppose to be. But the problem was, I was eating and not feeling full without it. Still stuck, luckily the scales moved back to 156.6 for a second before I drank anything. I found out I eat more calories than I thought too. I'm gonna wait a few weeks before I try to get all stingy with myself. lol I didn't walk yet today. AlaskanSonya has me inspired though, an hour!



              My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

              1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
              2nd mini goal: 140!
              3rd mini goal:135!
              4th mini goal: 130!

              I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                We do it all the time for dessert for my son. We melt butter, splenda and vanilla in the microwave and then pour it over the pork rinds and mix well. He loves it!
