    ok,

    I tried to kick start Atkins this week, but I failed!!! So I thought I would post here and be held accountable should I fail again !!!

    At any rate ... I hope I can kick start it since I feel aweful during the day, that is why I haven't been able to stick with it. Headache, hunger, etc ... Whatever, no excuses, have to get it done!!!
    Started Atkins on 10/23/06.
    Male (M), Latino, 5'7", 28 YO
    Goal1: 250 lbs - end of 2006
    Goal2: 200 lbs - July, 2007
    Final Goal: 150 lbs - end of 2007

    If you are hungry then you are not doing something correct. Many of us have success because there is no hunger. Find a protine/fat snack like hard boiled eggs to snack on when you are hungry. Headaches may be relieved by drinking more water.

      I agree fully with lauren. You shouldn't be hungry. If you are, you're not eating enough. So eat some more.

      As for feeling a bit sicky sick, that is most likely induction flu. You body's switching from a carb-burnin' machine to a lean mean fat burnin' machine! By the end of one week you'll be feeling better.

        i too agree. hunger is not something that you should have to be feeling on atkins. and if you keep doing the right thing, you will switch and everything will begin going smoother. we are here if and when you need us.

          yep what they said. We have a 14 day induction forum if you would like to join it and share your struggles with ours induring that carb cafein withdrawal yucky feelings as they struggle to get to ketosis so they can be Atkins losers too.
