    Happy Sunday to you all. Aww, Sunday, beginning of a fresh new week with fresh new oppurtunities.

    Thank you, Thank you! This group hasn't been accessible since yesterday morning and it's been driving me batty. Thanks to whoever fixed the server issue...whoohoooo!

      The scales moved! I get to keep strawberries!!! Okay, I only have had a serving a week, but I really liked it! This time I am trying to move the rungs and add more foods. I'm gonna stay here for awhile and maybe just mostly eat more veggies. My computer is getting all kinds of neat programs put on it. I haven't been as active as I should be. But Its only the last two days that the scales decided to move any. I know its not a huge amount, but I am back to where I was when I stopped. My grocery bill has went up, but treats like shrimp are just worth it! Sometimes I just have to have the little perks when the scales arn't moving.



      My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

      1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
      2nd mini goal: 140!
      3rd mini goal:135!
      4th mini goal: 130!

      I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

        Hi everyone, have done most of my cooking for the week this morning, may still do a couple more recipes to freeze...Having a nice day so far - hope everyone else does too

            Good day everyone, wishing you all a wonderful low carb day today and a terrific week.

            Rita, congratulations on the weight loss...how exciting is that?!?!?! Well done!!!

            Keep up the great work everyone...eat what you're suppose to, drink lots of water and remember to fit some form of exercise into your daily routine.

            Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
            April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
            Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
            1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
            2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
            3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
            4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
            5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
            Current weight – 183 lbs.
            Goal weight - 150 – 160

              Sure! I made 2 crustless quiches (we almost always have quiche weekdays for breakfast), Linda's sloppy joe pie, and Italian Zucchini Casserole. The sloppy joe pie will do for 2 weekday lunches, we had it it for lunch today & 2 to freeze for emergencies/lazy cooking days The casserole is a side dish two dinners this week, with some in the freezer for next week (or whenever)

              Note that thawing/re-heating frozen quiche results in some water in the bottom of the dish - this doesn't bother me, but some people may not like it.
