Actually my husband came home the weekend before. I don't know if I told you, but my friends threw me a BIG party. There was a rock'n'roll band and about 50 people. It was a combined party for me and my friend. My husband didn't know a lot of the people, but he had a great time and loved the band. People danced, we barbecued outside the clubhouse and had a lot of laughs. Even some of my writer friends stood up at intermission and read short stories and articles that kept everyone laughing. The band loved it cause this is their first 'gig' that they could bring their wives or girlfriends and kids. I even had some teens in the neighborhood that heard the music and came to investigate. They were shocked when my husband handed them burgers and told them to go on in and sit down.

Anyways, it was a huge success and I'll never forget it as long as I live. I've never had a birthday party since my sweet sixteen party...so this was a very special time for me.
