Hi Kath, Forrest and all to come!
I'm signing in quite late today....I hope you're all having a great low carb day!
I'm feeling quite ill today...worse than yesterday. My doctor sent me in for a bunch of blood tests this morning, a chest x-ray and a D-dimer test to see if I have a blood clot in my lung....I doubt I have a blood clot as I haven't heard anything so far this afternoon about it. They receive the D-dimer test back the same day because it is considered a stat test....so no news is good news! I have to go back tomorrow morning to see him again as he wants to see me.
Didn't get the workout in this morning due to how horrible I'm feeling....I feel like I'm running on fumes at the moment. I will go home after work and lay down for a bit and try to get in a workout tonight.
My dear husband and I didn't end up going out for dinner lastnight, I was too weak. We'll do the "rain check" anniversary dinner when I'm feeling better.
Anyway, enough about me!
How's everyone doing today, what is new and exciting with all of you?!?!?!?!

Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
Current weight – 174 lbs.
Goal weight - 150 – 160

Finally got off my butt & got some (real) exercise. Losses have slowed and so has my motivation...kick starting again starting today! Eating pretting much at Rung 3 levels for now...will retreat to Rung 2 if the scale isn't nice to me next week.Julie__________________F/37/5'2"__________________Start April 15, 2009

My dumb butt thought the imitaion crab looked good so I got some. It tasted so sweet I only ate a couple of peices. I looked it up and it had 16 carbs in about 2.5 oz.
I want a bugeyed smiley but I'm on a dish and its acting up. Anyway, I've wrecked the carbs today with that stuff. Bad things is, it didn't even taste good. I could of had fruit or anything else.
Sarina, I hope you feel better SOON!

My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.
1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
2nd mini goal: 140!
3rd mini goal:135!
4th mini goal: 130!
I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

My losses had slowed down in August too....it was my worst month since starting...aside from the time in May when I think I ONLY lost a pound all month. I can appreciate how you feel when that happens but you know...keep doing everything you're suppose to do and the weight will start to fall off again. It's almost as if our bodies take a break (a plateau) to adjust....and then one day the weight starts dropping off again. In the meantime, try to mix things up a bit. I notice this last time in August, I totally changed my workout routine and within 5 days I dropped 8 lbs. Just something to think about....so now I have a totally different routine...still sticking to the cardio, weight training and other exercises but my cardio now consists of not just my glider but also my stationary bike and work out DVD's...kick boxing, turbo jam etc.....
Hang in there Julie...you're amazing and a great inspiration to all of us...are real rock!
I'm right here with you....we'll get to our goals together!
