I had started to lose a bit of weight before starting atkins again when I started taking flax oil omega-3 ALA capsules. The many health benefits of taking them were noticed right away, especially the cleansing of my body, I had to find a washroom WHEN I needed it pronto! for what must of been extra fluids that my body was retaining, my legs and feet don't have the swollen feeling they always did.
What I'm trying to figure out, is that in one of the books I read count taking them as one carb? is anyone familiar with this?? there is no gluten, no sugar, no salt, no startch and no lactose in these suppliments. I just don't want to give up the benefits of all this oil can do for your body but would like to know how to count it into my carbs if I need to.
