  • Hola, Amigos!

    I'm back again! This time, it's going to happen! I have been fairly successful for a month or so, and wanted to be sure I was committed to doing this before I wasted anyone's time on here again.

    I also signed up for a 5k run, which really doesn't leave me any choice as far as exercising. I am up to running 3 miles in about 60 minutes, but hopefully I can whittle that down!

    This has always been such a wonderful place for support and knowledge - so I am thankful to Tom for giving us this resource.

    Let's do it!

    Hi and welcome back to Atkins Kagi --

    Regardless of what you did before, or what people are doing now, it’s best not to compare - just follow the plan the way it's written. Look around and find what interests you and join in. Check the STAC Second Time Around Club - Atkins Diet for additional support.

    I hope you already have the 2002 DANDR book and have read it, it is the edition we follow on this site. If not it's worth a few dollars to purchase. Get enough pure water in daily (64oz is recommended), exercise and take a non-iron multivitamin.

    The recipe sites will help keep you from eating the same thing over and over -- check them out! Don't forget to eat enough vegetables (check the acceptable food list (What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)(What foods can be eaten on Induction?)http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.com/forums/atkins-low-carb-dieting-faqs/6781-what-foods-can-eaten-induction.html) - 2 cups from the first list and 1 cup from the 2nd list daily.

      Hey Neighbor! Sounds like you've already got your focus set. Now all that's left is watching all the weight just fall off of you. Lots of applause for ya here...I doubt if I can run a full mile.

            Hi there, I actually remembered you from your original picture from when I was on the board years ago. We can do it this time!!!

                    So far today, been doing good...

                    For breakfast- 2 eggs
                    Lunch- Deli meat/ cheese
                    Dinner- Fish and veggies
                    Snack: SF Jello

                    I have bad cravings for sweets, but I will win the battle!
