Well since this is the CC I'm sure that everyone weighs or did weight at least 200 plus lbs... so my question is this..when did you notice that your body started to take on a different shape? i eman 1.5 more lbs and ive had lsot 80 lbs in 7 1/2 months i mean i can tell that i have lost quite a bit of weight but it seems that it looks like its only35 or so because i still haev the same shape only smaller- i hope htis makes sense- for example..like i still have the fat rolls on the sides of me and my lower part of my tummy still sags i down(i have no kids so no excuse) and the upper part is still as big as the lower... i feel gret that ive lost all this weight but at the same time i wish my body looked different and not just smaller.. any advice or thoughts, wisdom, anything....

First of all, it sounds like your wearing fat goggles, and not appreciating how far you've come. I know that for me, I have sensed some narrowing around the waist (after I found it, LOL) and sides. Have you tried more intense body-reshaping excercises like pilates? I do bellydance and love how it's narrowed the midsection. (I still have the rolls and droopy tummy too, so it's not just you). Lol.
Keep at it! How can you fail when you have us all behind you?Hafsa

Yes, I'm seeing similar results. I am losing fat, but my body shape isn't changing yet. I've been trying harder to lift weights and do things that will scuplt my muscles so as I lose the fat, I will sculpt at the same time : )
But we(I) have to remember that I (we) all have certain body shapes and no matter how long and hard I work out, I will never have long legs and arms. So I'm just going to try and be the best and healtiest ME.
I think the most important thing is weightlifting (since you are already have lost weight)...

Stephanie,
I can completely understand what you mean. I feel like a shrunken version of the former me. I complain constantly to my DH about this.
He is always telling me that I should 'open my eyes' lolol.. I know that I'm smaller. I know that I have lost a lot of weight. But I still see the same body! Just smaller. I guess this is the part where we need to bump up the exercise??? I'm trying to learn to be patient.
Just wanted you to know your not alone!

Its been over 100 lbs
before I noticed...I still have 100 to go, but I am now seeing the skinny person inside of me. I can see my shape completely differently...I still have a stomach and a butt, but they are smaller and I can see that with 50 lbs gone I will look fabulous, let alone 100...it took awhile but I am happy about it all...

I can't speak for your actual weight, but I have noticed that this "stall" I have been having the past 8 weeks, I have looked like I have been losing inches and have really changed the way I am looking, no longer looking as wide but I can see my actual thin person starting to come out.
I'd highly advise taking some periodic photos to help you see the difference (I say this but haven't done that myself, but do notice the difference in the mirror).Start date: 2/22/04 347/222/135 ~ 5'2"

While I realize that my shape is no longer "round", I haven't seen that "thin person" coming out yet. Hopefully a few more pounds lost and she will begin to show up. I know she's in there, but she is still hiding from me! Come out, come out, wherever you are! LOL
