    Good morning everyone!!!!!

    Welcome to Monday morning

    How's everyone doing this morning??? I hope everyone had a great weekend!

    What sort of plans do you have this week? How's the exercise routine going and what sort of exercises is everyone doing? I'm working out 6 days a week to a few different DVDs and having a blast with them. Using Slim in 6, Denise Austins Abs DVD, Turbo Jam and a cardio dance DVD.

    Don't forget to mix up your workout ever 6 weeks so that your system doesn't get use to the same routine.

    Drink plenty of water, eat properly and fit some form of exercise into your day....and don't forget your vitamins!

    Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
    Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
    1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
    2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
    3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
    4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
    5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
    Current weight – 172 lbs.
    Goal weight - 150 – 160

    My personal journey:

    Before and during - From 400 lbs. to 247 lbs. Not done yet!!!

    It was so nice to see you here Sarina starting Roll Call.
    YOU ROCK!!
    I have been on a steady course and feeling very strong and determined. My woe, exercise, vitamins, ketosis, and water are all a reality for me. Fortunately the weight is melting off me once again. I am more determined now than ever to make goal and stay there.
    I Love This Lifestyle, WOOOT!

        Good morning...well, afternoon now, to all of you. Yesterday I worked myself silly, so today is my lazy day. It's all about staying in my jammies and clearing out the tivo..lol. Mondays stink as a rule, so I make sure to totally overdo it on Sundays and take Monday to recover. My muscles HURT!

          Good afternoon everyone! It's 70 degrees here in New England today!!! And in November!!! Two days of Indian summer. Yippee!!

          On another topic that might affect us heavier folks, while updating my meds list I noticed that I am no longer using my Rx cream for rashes in the skin folds. Sorry if TMI but I don't think many of you all are smooth, sleek and aerodynamic yet so ya know what I mean. Anyways, it has to be the diet and getting rid of starches. I didn't really have sugar before so it has to be no bread. Another great benefit of Atkins.

          I just had to mention this to someone and it's not something I can bring up while casually chatting in the grocery line.

            That cracked me up, Mizski. There are so many things we're all embarrassed about and it's wonderful to be able to talk about them here.

            Now if quitting the starches could make my beard go away..lol. I think I shave more than my hubby!

              I'm here but just barely - got some sort of stomach bug, breaking out in sweats and then freezing. Other than almost passing out, my next thought was "I'm never gonna get caught up on my treadmill miles like this..." LOL!

              Have to drag myself off to accomplish a few things... ugh.

              Hope everyone else is better than me today.

                So sorry to hear your're not feeling well. Probably best to forgo the exercise today and just rest. They say exercising when you're not well doesn't do the body any favours.....and believe me, I know this first hand! I've done it a number of times and I learned the hard way.....it seemed as though I just fatigued my body even more and it took even more time to recover. Now when I'm feeling under the weather, I talk myself through it and just rest for a day.

                You're doing awesome, maybe just take it easy today and when you're feeling better you can give it your all!

                  If you and I were in a grocery line, I'd talk to you about it in a heartbeat!

                  I hear what you're saying, this is the first summer in a long time that I never had to use powder for those skin folds....the powder is a thing of the past......what a relief....I'm not looking back!

                  Congratulations on all that you've accomplished and thanks for the story....I could relate to it.

                      A2G, sorry to hear you aren't feeling well...hope you are feeling better soon

                      No big plans for this week - just the usual trying to keep organized, exercised & well fed Feeling pretty good...loving the ticker clearly showing "downhill"!!!!

                        I'm feeling quite a bit better late this evening, thanks all - whatever that was, it was violent but short-lived. I rarely catch ANYTHING, knock on wood, but I seriously was trying to decide for about ten minutes if I needed to go to the hospital. It was like my blood pressure had bottomed out, seeing all those big spots and all - which I have experienced before when really sick but not for that many minutes. I downed 2 glasses of water and went back to sleep for several hours and was quite a bit better by the time I woke up again.

                        Anyways, it's late but I haven't eaten much today, sorta scared to, LOL! I guess I won't worry about only having 1k calories today, all things considered.

                        Thankfully I am off tomorrow!
