    Good morning everyone!

    Lets make this day the best low carb day yet this week......be sure to drink plenty of water, eat properly, take your vitamins and fit some for of exercise into your day.

    Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
    Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
    1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
    2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
    3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
    4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
    5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
    Current weight – 172 lbs.
    Goal weight - 150 – 160

    My personal journey - Before and during - From 400 lbs. to 247 lbs. Not done yet!!!

    Afternoon all - feeling better, and apparently made up calories yesterday (nearly 3k) for my low calories the day I was sick (1k), LOL! I guess they'll average themselves out.

    Hit a new mini-goal today, woohoo!

    Had a weird dream that I weighed about another 100 pounds less than now and was showing a friend all this loose skin on my lower legs, which would stretch out about a foot away from my muscles and was paper thin and almost see-through, nearly like saran wrap. I'll certainly hope THAT part doesn't happen, LOL!

    Doing good keeping up on all my exercise challenges (abs, pushups, squats) EXCEPT the walking mileage... just as I suspected might happen. I'm competitive though, mostly with myself, and will be trying to catch that up because I hate to set a goal like that and just fail miserably.
    CHALLENGES: Walking - ? miles
    Pushups-000/600 Ab- 000/600 Squats- 000/600



    351 HIGH WEIGHT - DOWN 93 FROM THERE
    Lost 35-50lbs switching to whole-foods diet, 2006
    Started Atkins at 318 on 7/5/09

    MINI-GOALS
    1st - 299 - 9/1/09!
    2nd - 285 - 10/19/09!
    3rd - 278 - 11/11/09!
    4rd - 271 (minus 80) -12/24/09!
    5th - 261 (minus 90, least since '90) - 4/28/10
    6th - 251 (minus 100 from high weight) -
    7th - 241 (minus 110)
    8th - 231 (minus 120)
    9th- 225 (college athletics weight, minus 126)
    FINAL GOAL - 215 (?) - (minus 136)

        Having a good day today. Just got back from a family get-together & some grocery shopping - needed some extra veggies for the veggie challenge

          Hi everyone,

          Just peeking in to say hello!!!!

          Aways, I'm so glad to hear you're feeling better...what a relief....I love your dedication and determination in getting your exercise in...way to go! I just finished the first portion of my exercise routine for the day (I have today off, so I'm able to exercise a bit earlier).....so I'm just taking a five minute breather!

          Mary!!! It's GREAT to see you here girl....welcome, glad you've joined in....make yourself at home!!!!

          Hope you had a great time at your family gathering Julie....I've got to get my exercising done and run over to the produce market for some veggies....I'm ADDICTED to orange bell peppers!!!!

          OH....btw....I finally caved in the other day and started a journal in the "Journal" section! As I mentioned in the other threads, I was evaluating my weight loss recently and figure I definitely needed a journal to get me through the last part of my "weight loss" journey and to goal...so I'm feeling pretty good about that.

          Ok, gotta finish off the exercise routine.....talk to you all soon.
