  • CC Roll Call ~ Tues, Nov 17-09

    Hi everyone,

    How's everyone doing with their eating, water intake and exercise routines?

    All going well with them for me....will be incorporating a new exercise routine tomorrow night....Kettlebell training!!!! Can't wait!

    Heaviest weight - 403 lbs. (2007)
    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
    Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
    1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.
    2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
    3rd major goal met - Wed, May 13-09 - Reached losing 200 lbs. in just over a year and a couple of months.
    4th major goal met – Reached “Onederland” June 6-09 – 198 lbs.
    5th major goal met - My 1 yr. Atkins anniversary - Weighing 184 lbs. this day
    Current weight – 170 lbs.
    Goal weight - 150 – 160

      I've stayed on plan. Gabby got into trouble so I'm taking her to school to make sure they aren't going to have her arrested again. I missed the party with the cake, kept Gabby home with me cause she is in trouble. Wish me luck tomorrow!



      My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

      1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
      2nd mini goal: 140!
      3rd mini goal:135!
      4th mini goal: 130!

      I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

        Hi Sarina alls well with me just want the scales to move for me tomorrow morning well fingers crossed anyway.I need to make an exercise routine,well will do a long walk tomorrow am.
        I hope the new exercise suits you well.

          Hi Sarina,

          Keetje signing in from rainy London.

          Keeping up the eating and the water, feeling a bit tired today so held back on the exercise a bit. Hopefully tomorrow will bring a good long walk.

            Here, on plan other than my usual not walking on the treadmill, LOL!

            Dangit, I hardly ever get sick - probably somewhat attributable to the fact that I am a not-quite but nearly compulsive hand washer ;-) I had that several hour intense but short lived whatever it was with my stomach last week, then today, I noticed my throat feeling a little odd.

            I mentioned it to a friend, who mentioned that another close friend of ours reported sore throat symptoms this morning. Which really aggravated me because I remembered two days ago that I needed to take a vitamin that I had forgotten in my pocket all day, so I just grabbed a drink sitting near me that belonged to the now-ill friend and took a sip to get the vitamin down. I almost NEVER do that (drink after someone else), probably not over a few times a year, which is why I remember it distinctly - just wanted to take the vitamin before I forgot again.

            Dumb move! That'll learn me to drink after someone else during cold and flu season! Guess I better pop an extra vitamin (using my own dang beverage this time) to see if I can stave this illness off that was brought on by stealing a sip taking the OTHER vitamin!

            Off to nurse a big mug of no carb chicken broth... I really want a popsicle to numb the back of my throat, but none in the house. I guess I could make some with some kool-aid mix I use occasionally to make homemade jello and sweeten it with some splenda. I've never given popsicles two thoughts before... do they sell zero carb ones with splenda instead of aspartame? I know they are all full of fake junk just like the kool-aid mix for jello which I use sparingly (I really don't even like using splenda, but stevia doesn't always cut it taste-wise), but if my throat hurts enough, I'll forego my dislike of frankenfood ingredients to soothe it.
