  • OT The Mouse-The Man

While doing landry about 2 weeks ago, I saw a mouse in the landry room. So I go ask DH where Fester (the cat) was and told him why. I get this long lecture on how its no good for the cat and he will make a mess :raving :raving . He tels me to get traps. Make sure you keep cats out.
Day 2 I buy traps and set in Landry Room.
Day 5 stll noo mouse so I tell DH hhe tells me I set them wrong, I should have let him do it. ensive ok set them I say.
Day8 or so still no mouse, DH asks me where I bought traps, Dollar store I say, silly man asks me what I paid urplequ: What? its a dollar store I paid a Dollar??? :nono

He says thats the problem they are too cheap , he goes to the hardware store and buys 2/$4.00 :yikes
They were th same darn traps!
Fast Forward a week he tells me there is no darn mouse, it was late, I saw a shadow? Hello!!!!! Anybody there there was a mouse, I am not an idiot.

Fine I leave landry room door open last night in less then 10 mins Fester arrives with you guessed it Mousey. DH shakes his head and says its the biggest mouse he has ever seen? Nope I say it was a shadow!

Men you cant live with then and if you shoot them you go to jail! Hmmm They feed you and do your landry and the dont let children or men in hmmmmmmmm ensive

Oh that is soooo funny! Leave it to a man (sorry CC guys) to think a more expensive mouse trap will work better. I'm glad Fester caught your shadow! LOL

ROFLMAO! That is so funny! Sounds just like something my DH would do. He came in from feeding the horses one night and asked me if there was something on the back of his shirt. He turned around and there was a mouse clinging to his back! He tried to walk back to the front door to put it outside, but it jumped off in the living room. Poor mousie! It was doomed. I have 3 cats. Sure enough, about 2 days later they laid it beside my bed as a love offering. They are all declawed, but they had pounded that poor little battered mousie to death. Next time, just let Fester do what comes naturally! LOL

My house has remained mostly bug-free ever since I adopted cats. The occasional fly makes it into the house, but then it's fun to watch the cats chase it.

The moral of this story is that Fester knew more than the DH..... lol

Hey girls let's not run your men off to quickly I know one thing they can do better than we can do...communicate with other grunting mammals we call men... Mine is also great with setting the new fangled gadgets that I am clueless at ( because I don't care to know) but shh he has not figured that out yet. <g>
