It's a wonderful day in the South. It's chilly and overcast...perfect day to snuggle in and watch Christmas movies.

It is getting chilly here too (I suspect my chilly & Niko's might be a few degress apart...we do have a bit of snow). Looks like another good day, hoping for a good weigh-in tomorrow.

Chilly... to me is the low 50s in fall... then I sort of get used to that... by winter, I can manage all the way down into the low 40s or upper 30s without too much complaining... below that, though, its just "damn cold" to folks here in the South, which is much more dramatic than just regular ol' cold. I can't add the phrase used for anything in the low 20s or below lest I get thrown off the boards ;-)

These same temperature descriptors work in exact reverse in the summer, where "damn hot" starts in the upper 80s/low 90s with no breeze around, and the unable-to-be-typed phrase would kick into effect when it gets to the mid 90s and is really humid to boot.

I feel for you folks up north - maybe it is because I don't normally HAVE to deal with it, but I just can't handle too much cold weather. It makes me achy, for one - always has. Which makes me temporarily slightly irritable until the heat kicks on good and my muscles stop contracting and shivering, LOL!

Having a good day here, on plan, no exercise but I'll get to that tomorrow. I'm excited about getting pretty close to my next mini-goal and then dropping into the next 10 pound range. Plus someone I work with whom I have only known for a couple months commented today that she could tell I had lost weight (just in the time she has known me). Woohoo!
