    Hi, there, Century Club brethren! I'm new. This is me waving hello. *waves*

    I posted a general "hi there" in the Introduce Yourself forum (you'll find it here), but I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time with you guys. I have a long, long road ahead of me ... which I'm looking forward to, actually.

    I'm not new to Atkins, but it's been about five years. I don't know what questions I may have as I go along. Mainly, I just like knowing that there are others like me out there.

      Yep, there are quite a few of us out here, LOL! But a lot of us are making really good progress in getting where we need to be, even if it is going to take a while. You just have to settle in for the long haul, keep chipping away at it, do the best you can every day and don't give up just because your goal seems far away or you have a tiny slip up (conscious or not). The only way to get where we are all headed is one pound at a time.

      My goal weight seemed a long way away when I weighed 340 plus, but slowly (not always so steadily though, LOL!) that goal of under 200 starts to sink in as getting more reasonable and closer. When I actually get there, it will be something like 150 or more pounds I will have lost. I am about halfway there now, which I might not have predicted some time back. I love the days I lose a pound or three and get to update my ticker/signature information, LOL!

      You can get there along with us and maybe make some good online friends in the process. So, HOWDY friend! LOL! Post a note in the Century Club Daily Roll Call when you can and let us know how you are, what the weather is like, what new recipes you are trying or whatever else is on your mind.
