    Day whatever of induction for me. Even sick, it's been so easy to stick to plan and have had no cravings whatsoever. The doc appointment went well yesterday..I think. Antibiotics for the upper respiratory junk and he's testing me for Hashimoto's disease. Those results should be in tomorrow or Thursday, so we'll see. After looking it up, I'm not all that concerned..just one more pill to take each day.

    How's everyone else holding up? Congrats on the weight loss Sham! You're doing absolutely fantastic!!!

    A2G....shorts and a tshirt? LOL....I'd freeze to death!!

    Everyone else...how are you doing? Are you still excited to be working on the new you?

    Everything is going well. I got into size 16 jeans for the first time today I am still losing at a resonable rate, and am looking forward to wearing cute clothes when I get to goal. I am starting to think about going to Rung 6, but I think I will wait a while yet maybe in the spring...

        Niko - shorts and a tshirt in the house, yes, and certainly no shoes and normally no socks either. Like I said though, I have been breaking down and wearing sweats here recently. But you wouldn't likely freeze in my house - I normally keep it in the 70s, LOL! I'm really big on conservation and environmental causes, but I can't go with the low heat thing in winter in the house - it just makes me so much more non-functional, LOL! I try to make up for it in a variety of other ways throughout the year. I'm hoping to build a house one of these years using passive/active solar and then it would hold my 72 or so preferred temps easier ;-)

        I had on some 42 waist pants the other day just to try them on - still had a bit of a fat roll hanging over the top, and wouldn't likely wear them out and about quite yet, but that was still nice. Of course I immediately wondered if they were just "cut big" or whatever, but regardless, it has been a long time since I had on 42s, cut big or not.

        Still working my way back towards my low of 270, just a few pounds away, and hope I don't start back with that dreadfully slow weight loss pace I was experiencing in December. I had gotten somewhat sloppy last month on measuring some things like cheese, so I tightened up on that. Hope it helps.

        Oddly, I did think my belly looked a little smaller in the mirror today even though I am still a little above my lowest weight. Maybe it is. Do you all have problems with measuring and then questioning whether you are measuring more snugly than you did last time, or maybe slightly below or above where you did before, and thus not necessarily believing the tape? I measure about every week to try to help offset the potential for that, hopefully seeing an ongoing pattern even if I measure "off" on occasion. Trying on clothes that are too small helps too - it doesn't matter what the scales OR the tape measure says if I can get on 42 pants that I couldn't zip two months ago. That isn't nearly as much fun for me though, because I have to lose quite a bit to change sizes due to both gaining and losing all over and not just in a couple of spots... or at least that has been true so far.
