Happy Thursday everyone!!! Hope you're all having a fabulous day so far. It's going to be a rainy day in TX, but the kids have a 4 day weekend, so we can lounge around in the storms tomorrow. It's going to be so nice! Think I may try to find something else to make in the NuWave oven. That sucker's a blast when it comes to meats.

Re: Thursday Roll Call 1-14
I always find it strange that people don't have snow all winter...we get it around halloween and it stays on the ground until AprilOriginally posted by niko772 View PostSnow..ick! Hopefully we won't have anymore of that this winter.
One of these years I am going to spend a whole winter somewhere WARM!
Diet/exercise OK, have tomorrow off & am looking forward to it

Re: Thursday Roll Call 1-14
October snow lasting until spring... I think I would lose my mind, LOL!
It is a big deal in the south if snow lasts more than 2 or 3 days... and that's about long enough for me anyhow. I like it, it's pretty, the dogs enjoy it, it's fun to play in - then by the 3rd day or so I'm about tired of it.
I feel for folks up north after that cold blast we had where we didn't go above freezing (lows or highs) for a little over a week, I think. I guess you get used to it.
But it was sure nice to be out tonight after midnight tending to some stray cats and only wearing a long sleeve shirt (I was only outside about ten or fifteen minutes). I wouldn't have considered that last week when it was low teens that time of night.
In other news, I feel some weight loss coming on, LOL! Haven't been exercising for squat and need to get on that, but otherwise doing very well. No cravings, no hunger, trying to shake up my menus a little with some variety. We shall see.CHALLENGES: Walking - ? miles
