  • Going to make myself scarce for a few days

    I ordered the e-cigarettes this past weekend and they should be here tomorrow. Once I get things set up, I'll be trashing the regular tobacco smokes and have no idea if there will be withdrawal symptoms. The good news is that it's much healthier and I'm planning on switching to no nicotine by next month..whoohoo! Basically just inhaling and exhaling fruit scented steam!

    Pray there's no withdrawal, please? I hate being a witch.

    Let us know how those e-cigs work.

    My sister is finally getting the urge to strongly consider thinking about quitting...LOL...hey, better than nothing!

    She was wondering about the ecigs, but she doesn't know anyone who has tried them.

      Good luck quitting Niko. The nice part of quitting smoking is that it is an all or nothing deal. Sort of like quitting sugar, right?

        I know someone who switched to them and he's doing great. He loves being able to "smoke" without the stench. He's become very sensitive to the smell of smoke now and can't believe he used to go around blowing that stuff in people's space. I'm sure glad he quit! And also, he says he feels a whole lot better!

          I know someone using the e-cig also who finds it fairly easy to not smoke using that thing maybe 5 times a day. Regular long-term smoker but not a heavy smoker, as in could go half a day anytime and only have one or two, but then would usually have another half dozen in the evenings. And could quit for days up to a week or so, but would always get triggered into buying a pack for some reason or another. Always did better than many at quitting temporarily, but never quitting totally.

          E-cigs changed that and allowed for a few months without cigs (until the e-cig stopped working a few weeks ago and a new one now has to be acquired!).
