    Yeah, today is my first day of induction! So far so good.

    Gonna work out and take measurements today.

      wow! Where is everyone?

      I slept in today and then heard my son out stirring around. Came out and talked to him. He told me his plan for the day and I said 'can I come?' So got dressed real quick and ran out of the house without breakfast. Thought 'uh, oh'. But the first thing we had to do was get his oil changed and while we waited we went and had breakfast at ihop. We both got yummy omlettes. mmm... he ate my hash browns. SO was totally able to stay on track with no problem. I only ate half of mine (eggs, cheese, bacon, avocado with salsa) so have it to snack on.

      Then we went to Kohls and shopped. He needed some bath mats for his room and I bought him some glass bowls for microwaving. I bought myself some dishtowels and he wanted some too so bought him some of those. Got my daughter a shirt and two lightweight sweaters. (going to mail them for Valentines day) and that was it. Totally FUN to hang out with him. We talked so much. He talked so much. It was awesome mother son bonding time. We talked about his plans for the future and all the different options. I found out he is already taking college courses online which I didn't even know about. (hes a marine) I am so proud of him. He is so nice! and sweet. Now he is off to hang out with friends and my husband called to see if I wanted to go to a movie and dinner. (are you kidding me? of course!) so having a really awesome day. 'bout to run to the post office to get some boxes for mailing.

      Happy to be on track and feeling good.
      Hope you're all having a good monday too.
      (I had to work all weekend so this is my weekend... the life of a nurse.)

        Plans for the week -

        1 - get this water weight off with more water, less salt
        2 - avoid any and all holiday-related candy that is floating around me at home, work, and relative's homes
        3 - win back my ex (we remain friends) with the valentine's arrangement I'm sending and the witty card insert I crafted which is sure to bring a smile and a laugh
        (it won't work, but hey, you can't fault a person for tryin', and at least I have a sense of humor about it ;-)
