  • Cleo, oh Cleo.. wherefore art thou Cleo?

Excuse me.. but did Cleo say anything about up and disappearing on us? I must've missed it. Did anyone give her permission to take a vacation or something? I think maybe Cleo needs to be punished.. she has to write "I will never ever ever leave the Century Club for more than 2 hours without the express written consent of 5 members" 100 times on a blackboard.. in olive oil with and asparagus spear.

Cleo.. get your butt back here!

I'm back! Thank you so much for wondering about me! {{{origam}}} You're making me smile with my big gums.

I was gone last week due to a playground build we did. It took over 500 volunteers, and in 6 days, we built the most snazzy playground ever!

It is huge, has cost $120,000, and we have another $30,000 to raise before we can call it fully paid for.

I am so proud of the lady who was in charge of this project, because she gave 2 years of her life raising funds to see it happen!

You get the general idea with this picture. It's a HUGE playground, only ours is more intricate, with a theme and will allow handicapped kids to use the facilities!

Shes still here, you just can't see her anymore because all that weight she lost!

Those playgrounds are cool, Its a shame a lot of them have been dismantled becuase of the sue happy society. but there are a few still left I found one when I went on a trip and heck I even played on it some of the stuff was plain neat like the zip slide. the Oversized tire swing. The heavy duty swing set I can even use. Man I miss the one that was near where I live it was a pretty place always full of kids and people now most of it was taken out leaving a shell and not many people go. Its basically a parking lot. But there is still one left in Wesselmans parks (for those that live near evansville)

will-- you're TOO sweet. Knock it off. *lol*

Yes, I agree about the lack of fun stuff on playgrounds anymore, like those little merry-go-rounds where one person would spin y'all around so fast you'd fall over and hang on and try not to toss your cookies (Atkins friendly of course) all over the lot!

That's a very cool playground. I taught Kindergarten for a while and we had a little weeny playground compared to that. I teach 7/8th grade now. They would love that.
