    Hello to all,
    I was doing Atkins along time back but quit for whatever reason.
    I have a great mind set and realize that this is a wol.I am doing well and am feeling allot better about myself now.
    I read allot of your post and am encouraged so much by them!
    Thanks to all of you who post!

    I do have some questions-
    #1.What do you do for exercise?
    #2.Do any of you eat the Atkis Advantage granola bars?(I read allot of floks don't eat low carb bars ans was wondering about the ones I mentioned)

    #1- Pilates, Walk Away the Pounds, random exercise videos I have
    I really haev been staying in now doing tapes or DVDs. It works better with my schedule.

    #2- Never had the granola and I have had, but do not really like, the bars that are more candy or chocolaty. Bad aftertaste

      I really like the granolas bars.I don't like allot of the other bars either.
      I have watp tapes and like them well.

              Have you read the ingredients on the bars?
              I think you will find they contain non-induction ingredients:
              Oat Flour,Peanut Flour, Ground Peanuts, Rolled Oats (Peanut Butter Granola Bar)
              and
              Oat Flour, Rolled Oats, Roasted Almonds (Golden Oats Granola Bar)
              So are not 'legal' for induction :sadblinky
              Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

                Elizellen-I wonder why they would say on the bars that they are for all 4 phases of Atikins? :confused Thanks for the info though.

                  Welcome Back!!


                  1. When I started "Atkins" about the only exercise I could do was walking. When I began, 5 minutes was all I could do. I still walk almost every day (45 minutes-hour.) Several months ago, I added weight lifting to my regime, and it was the best decision about exercise I've ever made.

                  2. I wouldn't touch any of the bars (or other Frankenfoods) with a ten foot pole. I used 'em when I started, and never could get control of my food cravings. I would never have stayed on this WOL had I not learned that the bars were the culprit and eliminated them from my food choices.

                    no bars and I walk and do HIIT and BFL lifting.

                    COme jouiin our TDL exercise challenge in the CC forum the April topic is posted and it is an open enrollment challenge with you setting your own gaols based on your exercise ability.

                      Hi there!! Welcome back to Atkins and ADBB!

                      I use the WATP tapes, and also walk on our farm. I just started weight resistance and I love it.

                      As for the bars, ANA recommends them, but we use DANDR 2002 version and use only whole foods, as recommended by Dr. Atkins. You might find that they can cause stalls for some folks.
