  • Another must try recepie from the kitchen of Holly

Well I told you guys about the chicken that was to die for, I got another one for ya that I just made for lunch.

    You Need:
3 Leaves of Romain lettuce, washed
    Ground Beef, with taco seasoning
    Hot Peppers, to taste
    2T Sourcream
    1oz. Feta cheese, about 2T

All you do it lay the whole leaf down, spread sour cream on the spine of the leaf, from stem to tip. Then you place the beef on your leaf from spine to tip, put some crumbled feta cheese on your beef, and top it off with some peppers, to taste. This is the first time I tried romaine lettuce and I like because you can fold it over like a taco shell, and the spine is sturdy enough(and tasty enough) to hold what ever you have in the leaf. Great Lunch! And two filled me up! So you have one for a snack or to give to your significant other, my husband gobbled it up. AND YOU WILL TO at about 5 net carbs per three. ENJOY!!!!

I modified this recipe a bit, and had it for dinner tonite. All I can say is THANK YOU, it was a great idea and completly delicious.

I have been so bored with my food options that I have been tempted to cheat (I won't cheat but I need a little variety). Anyway, your recipe was perfect and it took me about 15 minutes to fix.

So yummy! If you have anymore good recipes please pass them my way.

      Hi Holly,

What kind of taco seasoning did you use? I looked at some of the taco seasoning packets at the grocery store and they all seemed to be high in carbs. I'd love to try your idea, but I don't know about the seasoning...
