  • Yay Me!

In January I flew home to California to see my family. My mom had lost 75 lbs on a low carb diet, so she let me have as many of her clothes as I wanted. (which is humilating because my mom has always been AT LEAST 50 lbs heavier that me) She pulled out a ton of jeans, and I started trying them on, the only ones that fit were the streatchy 24s or regular 26s :no I was mortified. So full of shame, I accepted them. DH and I started Atkins as soon as I got home which was January 21. I've been trying on my size 20 jeans regularly with no avail, but today, I tried them on, and can ALMOST get them buttoned. Not quite there, but alot closer than the 3 inches it used to be from the button to the hole! LOL But I did try on a pair of my size 20 shorts, and they fit. They are a little tight, but I got them buttoned, and have been wearing them all morning! So yay for me!

I have since re-gained a bit of weight, but that is soon to be coming off again!

Whoo hoo! What's amazing though is eventually these clothes you can't wait to fit you-won't for very long! Pretty soon you'll have to give them to someone else because they're too big! Way to go! I think this deserves the dancing nanner lol... :dancingb:
