I almost died when I was 6 years old. Car accident.

I was taken to a small hospital and was in a coma. I had to share an ice machine with a guy who was in a motor cycle accident. He looked fine (all internal injuries) while I was cut up pretty badly.

The doctors told our parents that he would live and I would die :yikes ...

After being im a coma for 11 days, I regained conciousness. A few days later he died.

I was born three and a half months early. I was due in January, but was born in October of the previous year. I am the youngest of five children. When I was born, I was only one pound two ounces. I was part of the study at Buffalo Childrens Hospital on the lung development drug Serfactant. I was given the drug, while others were not. The others all passed. Every 11 years we all get together to have tests performed. Out of the zillions of birthdefects I could/should have had, I only have two...I have a lazy eye, and one of my legs is a half inch longer then the other. My mother was very close to death, we both were. And to this day, the man that delivered me, is my OBGYN.

I'm still in my nighttie while typing on this message board lol (I guess my hubby and kids know this, but no one on here does ) Its like a SUnday afternoon here, because weekends here are Thursday and friday so Friday is like a Sunday afternoon, just lounging around in the house But hey! I did my exercise already on my machine for 20 minutes in my nighttie Lol

LOL that's cool! DH used to practice trying to move his eyebrows, it was hysterical, because he can't!

I can't keep my house clean to save my life!!! Oh oh, and I love thunder storms, but are scared to death of them! So I'm excited and frightened every time we have severe weather alerts. But then part of that is because I live in Tornado Alley. :yikes

Thank you! LOL I feel like a loser because I'm a housewife, and can't keep the house clean! But in all fairness I'm also a mother to a 2 year old, and wife to a messy man. :nod

I have a 6 year old, and a messy but sweet hubby. I'm constantly after the 6 year old to pick up his clothes after he changes. They are litterally dropped where ever he was the second he took them off. I could follow a trail to everywhere he's been!

I had a recording contract at the age of 16! It didn't last though, my producer was very shaddy. He was in the radio station (in Dallas) while I was singing in an on-air contest. I was not released from my contract until I turned 18. I would have had to re-sign all the paperwork then because I officially became an adult. I never re-signed and haven't heard from him, since I told him where he could stick that contract :mad2

I have to take off all my clothes right when I get home! When I was little I would strip down to my underpants as soon as possible. I have a pic of me with great grandpa at his b-day and i had a party dress on with a necklace, lacy socks and shiny shoes, bows in my hair (i was about 6) in the pic i am wearing all my accessories with only underpants! Now I usually put on PJ bottoms but I will never leave my clothes on at home. Also I have always had the need to check out the bathrooms everywhere I go. My family used to make fun of me when I'd get up at a restaurant or wherever "there she goes to check out the bathrooms"
Not very exciting but BF thinks it is hilarious that I still do these things.

I got married at the young age of 17,my husband was 26,we had our first child 3 years later and have now been married for 16 wonderful years and have a total of 4 children!Time flies when you are haveing fun!!!! :icondance

How about something we share in common. Cathy and I are from the same small town in east texas. I keep thinking that I'm gonna run into her one day at the grocery store or Wal-mart.
