  • clothes and your closet

Not sure why but I have found I have a different mentality this go round with losing weight. I just noticed it this evening as I stood going through clothes trying on things from closet. I made a pile, bagged them up (the ones that are too big!!) and have plans to move them on out. I did this a few weeks ago as well.

The old me would have stacked them in the back of the closet to save them for my fat days again...

anyone else doing the same? Or what are you doing with old clothes that are now too big?

what size are they.. you can always pass them to me if they are the right size. I have given a big sack full to a lady I met on here a few months ago. she is so happy with them. I never throw anything away, if somone else can use them

As soon as I outgrow my clothes, they immediately go to the Goodwill.

There are also women's shelters that can desperately use things like clothing.

I hang on to one piece of clothing from the VERY beginning (in my case a Scout shirt in a men's size 4X) just because it really helps solidify how far I've come.

I keep one pair of inspiration pants too! A pair of Lane Bryant cream coloured pants, size 32. It's really nice to put them on sometimes and see how much I've changed.

Everything else, if it can't be altered, gets pitched!

I am hanging onto a pair of inspiration jeans as well!!

I have someone at work to pass them onto... the others went to a donation center. I am a bit of a clothes horse so thus far I have ditched 14 trash bags of clothes :yikes The ones in the beginning were things I just knew I would never wear and not sure why I even had them. The 2 bags from last night are ones that are just too big now. And yes, it was an awesome feeling!!

I do like the fire idea! :yes

As soon as they fall off out they went. I decided if it cost me money to buy new clothes then I would seriously have to know I was gaining and make a choice new clothes or stop cheating!

                  Happy low carbing.
