Atkins in the Uk

Limited ranges of Atkins vitamins and foods are now available at Boots.
I was there yesterday and they had all of the vitamins, some energy bars and milkshakes. Unfortunately that section of the shop's shelves were almost empty, so i couldn't say which ones they do for sure nd which ones the do not.. I will go back during one of my lunch breaks this week and check it out again.

I noticed this on Boots website whilst browsing on Saturday, so on Sunday duly stomped off to my local store (Newbury) to check them out. Zippo. Zilch. Diddley Squat. B*gg*r All :-(

I was after the Basic #3 vits - I've bought some Solgar "Male Multiple" from my local Nature's Corner, and whilst they are very highly recommended they are £12.75 for 60 tablets (3/day) while I thought was a tad expensive.

I recently found Low Carb Megastore UK (http://www.lowcarbmegastore.com/) which quotes £24.99 for 180 tablets (3/day) and £13.95 for 90 tablets of Atkins Basic #3, so I may give these a go. They also stock Ketostix and the rest of the Atkins range.

Found 'em!

I went to Boots in Blackpool on Sunday and found atkins shakes and bars. There weren't that many left though and the checkout lady (also on atkins btw) had a nice chat with me and told me they'd been flying out of the door. I bought a few shakes and some bars. However - I really don't like the advantage bars - they make me want to yak! I can see how lots of people would though. The Milkshakes taste a little better. :laughing

My local chemist had Ketostix, about £4.35 for 50.

Have a look in the fridges where the sandwiches are normally held in boots---they are supposed to be stocking atkins salads with tuna and prawns and chicken etc.

Also superdrug now stock a good range of carbolite and atkins.
