    Hi chelsea976

I have never found it in the supermarkets I use.
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

I didn't buy it as I have no idea what to do with it, plus, I refuse to pay the prices in Waitrose!!!

You may be getting it confused with a "butternut squash".

Nope, I am totally convinced it was Spaghetti Squash...

My mum was with me and I commented that I keep seeing this in Atkins Menus, but that I didn't know what to do with it.

I really am sure it was spaghetti squash, not butternut!

If I'm wrong, then I've lost my mind!!!!

I don't either! It's WAY too expensive in Waitrose, so overpriced!!!

                Asda, 4 Chicken Breasts £4-5....Waitrose £8-9!!!!!

                I can't afford that!!!

But I'm sure it was Spaghetti Squash.

                  Re: spaghetti squash

I've found spaghetti squash on farmers markets over here in Germany and I suppose you could find it in UK, too. But it is only available during the season, which seems to be August/September. I buy several, prepare them and freeze the squash strands for later use.

And you can grow it yourself if you have a garden, seeds should be available via mail order.

                    Re: spaghetti squash

I'm having spagetti squash tonight! I love it, but can only have 1 cup since I am on induction and that is 10 carbs right there.

I found mine in my local supermarket placed with the other strange veggies, pumkin looking things..Mine is a large yellow oval shaped melon, I will bake it in the oven on 350 degrees and I spray Olive Oil on it and garlic powder, bake for 20 minutes, add 2 T. butter and cook another 10 minutes or until tender, then spoon it out and you have low carb pasta....

If your local supermarket doesn't carry it, ask the Manager and he can get it for you...
