I felt so sorry for those poor people. I really cannot see why it is necessary to humiliate them on national TV. I guess this is how reality shows work (I've never watched one before!). Pood David's face when he saw the figure on the scale! But it was nice to see the support offered by the other contestants.

I really don't like the format much. I will keep watching because I want to see what exercises they give them etc, but I think voting these people off the show is counter productive. I liked the format of the Celebrity Overhaul where they all got to go to the end and compare results. Much fairer, and more 'Australian' to me.

And why do we have to have overseas presenters - there are plenty of good physical trainers here! What did you think of it? (And any other Aussies out there watching, what are your thoughts on it?)

It is about 20 times more demeaning to the contestants than the American one!
What's up with the white t-shirts with their weight on them!!
And everyone was blubbering about how bad their life was - didn't like that!!

Did you notice that the voice-over guy has a pommy accent ? I reckon they are gearing up to sell it to the UK. You know how the UK loves Aussie TV. I really liked the UK program called 'Fat Club'.

I don't mind having the trainers there, it gives it an interesting touch!
