:wave Hi Everybody! I've just started Induction today and I am very worried about figuring out how to do it in Beijing China. There are absolutely no Atkins products here. Chinese food is even more carb-based than Thai food. It seems almost like everything is made out of refined flour or rice here. I am truly worried. Can anybody tell me if MSG is a form of carbohydrate or not? Also, does anybody know any low-carb Chinese recipes fit for induction?

Hi, I'm currently living in Japan and we have the same problems. I really don't think its a problem, you don't need to eat any fakefood on Atkins, fish, chicken, beef, veggies, eggs, cheese, can pretty much be found everywere. I sticky'ed this so others could find you if they living in China. Welcome and glad you found us.

Re: Induction in The People's Republic of China
Hey I'm from China and will head back home for summer break. The lack of atkins diet product is a big concern of mine too. I think it would be better if you learn to cook some basic Chinese dishes based on meat. (the process is simple and you don't need to put into starches and sugar) ...I know someone in China loosing alot in this way.

Re: Induction in The People's Republic of China
I am a new member in China. I am finding that you have to do things the good old fashioned way with real food--no products here. Bring Splenda and low carb ketchup and whatever you absolutely can't live without. They don't have it here. But there are good veggies and nice lean meats (of course they are also tough). Cheese can be hard to find. It can be done if you are committed and it depends what city you are in, even in China.
