Would still prefer Bournemouth but maybe thats abit too far south for everyone? Long drive for the Northerners.

      Re: calling all UK atkiners!!

I was in Bournemouth yesterday for the half marathon. A lovely day was had.

Henley is much more central and also a nice place, but I am open to other suggestions from others for other central places.

All will be good for Henley, as Emma and Jane can share lifts. Pretty much making it the same sort of cost (travel wise) for everyone.

                      Re: calling all UK atkiners!!

Hi - I have been a bit busy with real life lately so havent been able to visit all the forums.
Sounds a great idea! Henley would be fine for me - it would have to be a Sunday as we have our shop open on Saturdays.

How did your half marathon go yesterday, Rich? Was it too hot or just right for running, with the wind off the sea to cool you down? I was away visiting my Mother in Royal Tunbridge Wells so have no idea what the weather did in Bournemouth.

I do admire you runners immensely - the best I can do is the treadmill for half an hour or so, cant imagine even running a hundred yards!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!

The weather was ok actaully Eliz. A little windy along the promenade, but to be expected really.

July some time I think is the plan Sally. Oh and it is likely to be a Sunday also. But the July date isnt necessarily set in stone, it could be August.

That would be great if you came across Sally

I can do any date apart from 16th July, as I've got an all day wedding the day before - and we're staying over at a hotel, plus I think too much champagne may be consumed!! - but thats the only date I can't do.

I think the Regatta is on 4th-8th of July, so we might want to steer clear then too!
