Still cheat free! My scale is packed away so I have no idea of my weight loss at 15 days, but when I see my full boday reflection I can tell I've lost on my upper body. I go through and awkward phase where my top and bottom don't match, but then shortly my fat seems to redistribute. Does this happen to anyone else?

Me too - I'm the opposite of you, I loose at the bottom first and then the top. It started to even out for me after the first 25 pounds.

And Checkers - Congrats on being Cheat Free!! :joy

Poefox, I could find my scale, but haven't really wanted to. I also feel that this time I'm not obsessed. I am using my ketostix since when OWL came I went back to my old rung and am continuing the rungs that I didn't do before and I'm also upping by 5 carbs per week (35 today). I'm on to regular fruit today and chose grapefruit.
Congrats on your cure from sweets! I have no willpower and luckily I just don't need it.

Still doing okay. Had a couple of slip ups though. I'm continuing to hang in there with the exercise (thankfully). I haven't checked the scale for fear that my "slip ups" might have caused a gain and I just cannot bear to see the large number.

Congrats on everyone staying cheat free and avoiding the temptations of the scale!

I did have a cheat day with some icecream but I am not going to beat myself up over it. I am continuing on extended induction to my goal. Hope everyone is doing well. Have a good day.

                Just saw this thread.

I've been doing good all week this week except for the tiny glass of wine I had last night. No scale change though. I've been working out everyday so far.

We are going camping this weekend and I'm making a list of "legal" treats to make so I don't go off course... too badly. I've gotten a lot of great ideas today browsing around (I should be working! LOL). The only thing I'll have a problem with is the "sit around the campfire" drinking we do. But I found that if I just slowly sip my drink, I don't even drink a whole one, when usually I'll have at least 3. SO.... giant step for ME!! :icondance

I am SO greatful for this board! :yes

Hey Kelani, glad to see you aren't AWOL. Sounds like things are going good for you. The good part is you didn't let one "cheat" turn into a month of cheats! That is success in itself, right? :wave

Doing good! I would like to see how much weight I've lost but i'm sticking to my goal of weighing on July 1st. I can almost fit back into my pre-pregnant pants (which just means I'm a little less fat than I was 2 weeks ago :confused ) and my clothes are fitting better. I plan to stay on induction till I get to my goal. I've set my goal kinda high so I won't mind losing a little more as I work my way up the rungs.

You guys are doing great! Keep it up! :joy

I am walking about 17 to 18 mins a day, working up to longer slowly. Have noticed the difference that walking makes already, A problem that I had with my hip that prevented me from exersising previously...turns out, the problem was....too much couch potato syndrome, not enough walky walky. As soon as I started walking daily, the hip pressure went away...imagine! lol

I haven't cheated at all 16 days, and am down 6 pounds. Slow, but getting there.

Debbie - are you planning to take some low carb drinks with you? They make all sorts of different low carb alc bevs. Maybe a little rum and diet coke? The first time I did Atkins the occasional beverage never hurt me.

Mmmmmm... my fav summer time beverage is Captain Morgan's Cocunut Rum with pineapple juice. Definitely not allowed to have that one :no

Sarah, thanks for the suggestions. Would rum & diet coke be better than my Chardonnay? It would be nice if the alcohol makers would put nutritional values on the label, even if there is none LOL ensive I might take a couple of caffeine free diet coke (no diet rite in this state.?) and we always take a huge (10 gal) jug of water for drinking. I'm really going to do my best to stick with the program this weekend, even though my hubby bought my fave chips (Fritos scoops). I told him to leave them home! :guns

Debbie, I don't have my book with my today, but I think that Rum has zero carbs ("spirits" have zero carbs), white wines have approx 1 carb and Reds have approx 2. So if you were drinking diet coke and rum, should be a zero carb drink for you. And, with the huge jug of water you will have, you'll just increase the amount of water you're drinking (which will be kind of bad if you won't be close to a bathroom :yikes )

Thanks Sarah LOL bathrooms aren't a problem where we are going. We have a motorhome (nothing fancy, believe me) but it does have a bathroom and the campground has plenty.

I might send hubby out for some rum then. Not my fave, but if it helps... ensive
