I started Atkins on June 14th, exactly one year ago, and lost 45Lbs over a few months until I ate one piece of haloween candy a few weeks after halloween. I had no problem staying on the diet, I enjoyed it because it is all of my favorite foods and I set carbs aside happily. Somehow after that one piece of candy I started slipping in carbs, and for about 7 months I would go over the line then eat more carbs for the rest of the day because I would resume Atkins the next day. Again, that went on for months. That said I did give up sodas with sugar, most fast food, and in general was more carb concious. I did gain back 15 but it could have been allot worse.
So I am back on, cheat free for 3 days and in ketosis on the one year mark.
