Well after 20 days I'm seeing really big differences which seem to just happen overnight. This morning my love handles are almost gone and I have a natural curve there instead of a spare tire. Tummy not flat, but much reduced. Boobs had been very saggy for at least a week, but suddenly shaped up and became smaller and tighter. Weird huh? And this after only two days of induction and going straight back to rung 4 where I left of quite some time ago. I've been climbing the rungs and still losing (on regular rung fruit this week). And I want everyone to know that you can easily go up the rungs and keep your carbs lower. I'm personally trying to increase every week and having a hard time doing it despite the new rungs. I'm at 35 carbs this week, but having a hard time getting there. If you choose the high fiber/low glycemic foods your net carbs are just going to be low. I'm eating from all rungs and eating all I can without stuffing myself. So I'm hoping that maybe some people might give the higher rungs a try (they are so yummy). The food variety is really keeping me happy. I am using ketostix, especially when adding a food. I love OWL!

Checkers that is Great!!!! You are doing such a good job! Seeing and feeling the difference in your body must be awesome. :joy
So what is your basic meal plan like for a day? Starting Monday, I think I'm going to eat within the lower OWL rungs to add some variety, but keep it under 20 carbs a day for now. What do you think?

Sarah, I think it would be really easy to do that. You can get ALOT of variety up to rung 4. My macadamia can shows 2 net carbs for 1 oz. And to tell you the truth I'm so used to these little portions having more than that just sounds too rich. It's very easy to fit the berries into the carb level you're sticking to. Rasperries have alot of fiber so your net will be low.

Thanks for the input Checkers! I'm really looking forward to branching out a little. I feel that it will help me be more consistent. I plan to really look into the things I can have over the weekend and go grocery shopping. I always have a difficult time for breakfast, so looking forward to adding a little fruit ! (with a serving of some protein and fat of course - not sure what, but I'll figure it out) .

Luckily macadamias have LOTS of fat to have with berries. You can just follow up your usual fatty meal with a small portion of berries. Now that it's getting warmer I'm getting more snacky with cold foods. Tommorow I will be out and about so I'll be taking a little picnic with me. Hard boiled eggs, dill pickle, think cut deli meat, pieces of cheese, nuts and berries.
