  • Great forum...how'd y'all know I needed you?!?!?

    Hey all...

Well, I'm back. The good news is, I never got back up to 150, the not so good news is, I'm pretty darn close.

I went out to work in February, and the company is actually letting me work from home all summer, so I am going to give the Atkins WOL another go. The alternative was just what we all remember, fatigue, fat gain, indigestion. I did South Beach for a bit, but the cravings never really did go away. So, I'm back.

I got a bunch of fun DVDs for exercise...belly dancing, Darrin's Dance Grooves, Beginners Stretch and a Leslie Sansome yoga DVD.

Ugh....starting over is a pain....but, I can't think of a better place to do it, or better people to do it with.

Welcome back Leslie! Seems you have a great plan to start. Working from home should make it slightly easier since you will have fresh foods at your disposal, right?

I hear you about the cravings with South Beach...with SB I had cravings and hunger all the time. Blech. What a horrible way to live. Additionally, I had tried Weight Watchers and was never really satisfied. I found myself doing low-fat atkins without even realizing it...low fat turkey with no fat cream cheese (blech!?#@) and was hungry all the time.

Honestly, with Atkins, I may have had cravings for a while but I wasn't hungry.

I'm back on track again, too, so I know what you are going through now second time around!

Welcome Leslie! I wondered where you ran off to :hug

I'm in the same boat. Working outside the home is easier for me because I stick to what I bring to eat. At home, there are too many other things tempting me. That's why I always blow it on the weekends :anger

Hang in there! We are here to help each other :hug
