  • Weekend help

    You all have read my posts about how I always blow it on the weekends. I don't know why I do that. I don't eat regular, then I get too hungry and snack on whatever is in sight.

    How do you all stay with the program on the weekends? I know I need to change my thinking. I never get enough water in or veggies and I end up eating crap. Then Monday I'm up 8 lbs, I lose 7 by Friday then it starts all over again. I did pretty good this last weekend (I thought... all things considered). What do you do to stay consistent? :help

    To get thru weekends, I:

    1. Prepare lots of food in advance.

    2. Prepare at least two really good treats (usually sweet) that I ONLY get to eat on the weekend. (cheesecake pudding comes to mind....and chocolate mousse, which I make by whipping cream with splenda and cocoa powder)

    3. Make it a rule not to eat out.

      i know how you feel...when i was up at school weekends were the worst! i would do good allll week and then think that it was okay to "reward" myself with drinks and junk. finally, i just had to get the whole "weekend" notion out of my head and realize hellloo it is just another day, like thursday or wednesday or monday. like finelly said, just prepare yourself. keep legal foods on hand, drink a lot of water, and just remind yourself of all the hard work you put in monday through friday! :yes :hug you can do it!!
