    Well, here I am, starting Day Nine.

    Yesterday my percentages were a little off - more fat and less protein. I know it doesn't matter because last time around, I ate very little meat and so naturally my percentages were skewed a bit (like 70% fat, maybe 72%) and I still lost a ton. But I want to try to raise the protein now.

    As each day goes by, this woe is more ingrained in me and I have a lot of confidence in my ability to be disciplined. You guys are a big help!

    What I'm celebrating today:

    - I have been absolutely faithful about drinking my water, which is a BIG change from last time around
    - I have been consistent (only 1 day missed) in getting in my minimal cardio exercise daily
    - I am cheat free!
    - cravings don't exist
    - I feel GREAT!

    today is a pretty happy tuesday. i have been cheat free for over a week and finnaally the scale has stopped bobbing up and down and i lost a pound! wohoo! amazing how great it feels to know you are down just one measely lb. :yes anyways...it has been soo hot and humid lately i am trying to drink my water like crazy. i've been religious about taking my vitamins and i am still obsessed with chicken caeser salads haha. i don't think i would have made it this far on the atkins wol without them! :guns :guns alright well that is my tuesday ramblings for now...hope everyone is having a fabulous day!
    Starting Weight: 190 (2005)
    Goal Weight: 140 (met goal summer 06)
    Current Weight: refuse to get on the scale but all my clothes don't fit
    New Goal Weight: 135

      Way to go Finelly and Michigangirly!

      I am celebrating my first week of induction tomorrow! So far cheat free and i have exercised. That is my news!

        Congrats to everyone so far on their successes! Today is my 11th day of Induction and 11th day cheat free! :yikes I have NEVER been able to go this long without cheating! I am so happy I found this board, read the book, and am learning to do Atkins the right way this time around!

        Finelly, I have been having a little trouble with my percentages too. I tend to also be higher fat. I planned today's menu last night, so I could check percentages and make adjustments before I put anything in my mouth. :yes

        My scale hasn't been moving so far this week, but I'm hoping for a loss by Saturday (my 15th day of Induction!)

            Good going everyone! Great accomplishments all around here today.

            I am also on day #9 and other than a little craving thing last night (I think was because I had not eaten enough all day) I am going strong. Exercise is kicking in, I am remembering my supplements daily (historically not a strong point of mine), eating has been on plan... have to remind myself to eat actually. I do need to force the water issue though. I am not quite getting 2 quarts in each day and strive for 3. Part of me wants to go purchase a scale but Im not desperate for it yet so Ill keep chugging on and just let this WOE do its work.

            Got a hair cut today and it has put a little extra zing in my step so this is a good day. Now time for lunch!

              It's easy to get your fat down. Eat more meat (I prefer chicken). Also, a glass of wine will do it <wink> :yikes
