Thanks Finelly!! What a great compliment! I think we are all role models! I see so much strength here on this board! We don't give up, might of walked off the trail for awhile, but look.... here we all are again!! That has to say something about all of us and our strengths! And of course how smart we are, we know it works!!

I think one of the hardest things I have to cope with on this WOL is the people that are around me. I NEVER mention I'm on a diet, I just say I'm cutting back on carbs for now!! I don't have that much to loose and I have people looking at me saying I'm crazy. Well they're not me, they don't know what those extra pounds feel like, and they're not the ones that have 3 sizes of cloths in their closets! I also think its because they couldn't commit to something like this, so they feel a little insulted that one person can do it, but they can't, or won't!! I hear a lot of "Gee I hope your not doing the Atkins, that will kill you"! I'm not about to sit and explain this WOL to anyone! I just ask them, "have you read the book"? I've also found myself watching others eat, not that I wish I could eat what they are, just can't believe they are consuming all those carbs and don't have a clue! Then they wonder when they get done with lunch or supper, why they're so tired!! LOL WELL...... goes to show you how many people out there are not Carb Smart! I work with a fellow that is 400 lbs. I'm not kidding! He is about 5'9". We've been talking about loosing weight and I had him talked into a diffrent way of eating for about a week, and then all of a sudden he just gave up. I don't say to much because I don't want to bug him about it, but I know, one of these days he's not going to make it up those 48 steps for break or to his locker! He is one of them that told me Atkins will kill me!

    Okay enough rambling!!

    BIG :hug
    happy losing to us all!!

Way to go, Deb! What an accomplishment - getting through a function like that IS quite a task. And you did it! Yay for Deb!!! :joy
